We have been informed by a Baby Boom customer that they received a refund from their bank after paying for their goods by Visa Debit Card.

Monday 6th November

This is written by the webmasters for the Baby Boom Direct website.

On Monday 6th. November we were requested by The Managing Director to remove online purchasing facilities from this site, which we did. The reason given was that the company's suppliers were refusing to take back returns made from Internet sales which, according to the Managing Director, no longer made the e-commerce side of the website viable.

On Tuesday 7th. November we were requested to completely remove the website without explanation, which we initialy complied with. Since then we have been contacted by disgruntled customers and have therefore decided to re-instate the site so as to explain the situation, as best we know it. Despite all attempts we have not been able to make any contact with Baby Boom (UK) since that communication.

Our information seems to suggest that Baby Boom (UK) Ltd are not currently trading and have cancelled all outstanding orders, informing customers that they should seek refunds from their bank/credit card companies. For customers that paid by debit card or cheque however the banks are unlikely to issue refunds as far as our understanding goes. Their telephone seems unanswered and their answer machine full. We are still operating their email service for them but do not believe these are being read.

That is all the information we have but will update this page if we receive anything more.

The Seller reserves the right to alter , amend (increase or decrease) or withdraw from sale (at any given time) any products / prices listed on this Website. The Buyer will always be notified by the Seller PRIOR to any payment being processed of any such alterations which become necessary and incorrectly priced sales orders will be duly Cancelled. Buyer will be given option to re-order at correct prices.

Prices may fluctuate periodically, and the Website will be updated as becomes apparent.

Any such orders downloaded showing incorrect pricing will be adjusted at point of sale and Buyer to be notified immediately.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and when you have decided which product(s) you wish to buy please contact us either by email sales@babyboomdirect.com. We do ship to non-European destinations but please telephone, mail, fax or e-mail your order. We accept credit card payment including Switch, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & JCB. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail(either with your order or separately).

Alternatively, you may request an invoice with your order and we will ship your goods after we receive your payment. We will normally send your order to you within 7 days, however, please allow up to 28 days for delivery. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

All mail order, fax and telephone orders are to be PAID in FULL on RECEIPT of Sales Order.

Although every effort is made to ensure prices and availability are accurate and up to date the information on this website does not in itself offer a contract of sale. If information is incorrect you will be informed as soon as practically possible, at which time you may cancel your order

Delivery Schedule Baby Boom Direct Ltd will ship your goods as soon as possible after receipt of your order. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery, however, we normally try to achieve 7 days (UK) for delivery.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added (except clothes and nappies (exempt) and Car Seats & Travel Systems @ 5%).

Guarantee In the event that you are in any way unhappy with your purchase on receipt of your order, you are entitled to a FULL REFUND (NB> EXCL. Shipping Costs). To make a claim, please contact us no later than 24 hours after accepting your delivery of goods. Goods must be returned in Good Condition and in the original packaging in order for compensation to be claimed (Please refer to our trading Terms & Conditions , clause No.8).

Privacy Policy Baby Boom Direct do not disclose buyers information to third parties.

Returns Policy A refund (or exchange) will only be granted if the following criteria are met:-

(i) Baby Boom Direct sales receipt is submitted - no receipt, credit note only.

(ii) Goods purchased within statutory 28 days (exceeding 28 days -exchange/credit note).

(iii) All returns must be in original packaging.

(iv) All returns must be unused.

(v) All faulty/defective goods are entitled to a full refund/exchange (accompanied by a Baby Boom Direct sales receipt).

(vi) We charge Return Carriage at the same rate as Outbound Carriage costs charged with order
